Flora Dance are a Spanish alternative-pop band from Madrid, formed in 2017 and consisting of Javi Linares (bass guitar and vocals), Anto Coca (acoustic guitar, keyboards and vocals), Marcos Soriano (guitar) and Rafa Moout (drums and percussion). The band started to form when Javi and Anto met at school and started playing together at age 14. They both shared a passion for The Beatles so they started playing and writing songs taking them as role models. During the next 10 years they tried to put a band together without much success. Playing with friends was fun but they lacked the necessary commitment. After a few existencial crisis, in 2017 Javi and Anto met Rafa and Marcos and finally, the Flora Dance project began. Three months after starting the project, they recorded their first EP, “Blue Tangerines”.
